Grand Park in downtown LA is finally here! Second-years, we’ve been hearing about this project from nearly every professor for a year and first-years, you are bound to visit it.

Located between Disney Concert Hall and City Hall, the park has been touted as not only a much needed gathering space and beautifier for downtown but also a civic unifier.

Advocates of the park claim it will be one of the nation’s great urban parks, on the scale of Central Park, but it will be interesting to see if it can actually fill this tall order.

None the less, I’m going to visit just to play in the fountain!
